Largemouth Bass

More of a lake-dweller than the smallmouth bass, these bucket-mouthed predators are fairly common, if not widely distributed throughout the northern reaches of Wisconsin.  Largemouth Bass can be targeted effectively with top water flies, as well as streamers and jig-type patterns, but are, for us, most frequently a by-catch during the pursuit of more toothy predators.
